" Pro-choice describes the political and ethical view that a woman should have total control over her fertility and pregnancy. This entails the guarantee of reproductive rights, which includes access to sexual education; access to safe and legal abortion, contraception, and fertility treatments; and legal protection from forced abortion. Individuals and organizations who support these positions make up the pro-choice movement."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro-choice
MAIN ARGUMENT:Every child should be a wanted child.
So in the event that you are raped would you be willing to keep that child and show the same love that your parents show you each and every day? My opinion is that it would be very difficult to show love to an unwanted child. It was a forceful action that came upon me by and act of unrightrousness. Getting up every day looking into that child's eye is a reminder of that horrible day. As the child grows the explanation of where he came from would be difficult. Kids are not insecure, they are aware of their surroundings and ask questions when they are unsure of things. Abortion of an unwanted child can reduce the number of child abuse cases. It's only logical.
That's just one idea!
Alot of the pro-choice reasoning comes from the simple fact everyone thinks differently. No "pro-lifer" can impose their moral rights on one that does not believe in the same things. Many argue that is is more of a civil issue. A woman should be able to control her own body-she does what she does for a reason.
